Kendall Jenner Wears The Dress Of The Summer 2020

A lime green sell out from a sustainable British brand.

POSTED BY ELLI CARTER

When a new summer comes along, so does a new season cult dress – and we look no further than Instagram to see which striking ensemble our favourite fashionistas have chosen to take the crown. Flashback to last summer when checks were in full force – think Ganni’s original acid-green seersucker dress and Kitri’s fuchsia Lenora midi dress – fast-forward to this year, we’re swapping squares for circles with UK label House of Sunny’s most recent masterpiece, the “Hockney Dress”.

Taking inspiration from the paintings of artist David Hockney, the palm green dress features a distinctive, water print, lily pad pattern with a cut out back detail – combined with a lightweight knit fabric to make it the most practical and breathable for the summer days.

Whilst the sustainable British brand has managed to build up a star-studded clientele since its launch in 2011, from the likes of Instagram’s most likeable It-Girls, to celebs such as Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa, the most recent muse to champion the independent label is supermodel Kendall Jenner.

Styled with an oversized straw hat from The San Diego Hat Company, DMY BY DMY’s ‘Preston’ sunglasses and Carolina Santo Domingo’s Ostra Micro Off White bag – Kendall casually sips from a glass of rosé as she achieves a look just perfect for a lavish day soaking up the Cali sun.

While drop one, two and three of the highly desirable dress has already sold out, it is now available to pre-order here for a September delivery. Expected to sell out again any time soon - be quick to get your hands on this summer staple as the designer only makes limited runs each season.
