Kim Jones Designs Two New Chuck 70 Colorways For Latest Converse Collab
The collaboration also features apparel
It's hard to believe that the iconic Chuck 70 could be reimagined, but in Converse's latest collaboration with Kim Jones, the British designer brings a touch of modernity to the classic silhouette.
Creating a capsule collection comprising of four pieces - a Parka thats available in a khaki and bold red, petrol blue Cargo Pants and matching Crewneck Sweatshirt and lastly a classic T-shirt in White and Khaki.
The star of the collaboration sits with Kim Jones' take on the Chuck 70, designing two colorways named "Black" and "Egret."
Jones brings a contempory feel to the classic sneaker as the tooling is extended higher across the canvas material.
Details continue with transparent TPU cages and speed lace eyelets as well as the reengineering of the outsole, now including a diamond grid which increases traction.
The designer's name is elegantly stamped onto the tongue and sock-liner in a simplistic font.
You can shop the Converse X Kim Jones collection globally from April 8th on the Converse website.
