JJJJound x Adidas Samba Drops With Sleek Upgrades
A touch of Montreal.
The Samba, adidas' iconic sneaker, has been revamped by JJJJound, the Montreal-based design studio known for its minimalist aesthetic. The collaboration is the latest in a series of high-profile partnerships for the Samba, which was crowned as the 2023 Lyst shoe of the year and featured in projects with Pharrell Williams, Grace Wales Bonner and others.
The JJJJound x adidas Samba stays true to the original silhouette, but adds some refined details that elevate the shoe. The leather upper has a soft off-white hue, contrasted by a black tongue, laces and stripes. The collar lining has a gold tone that matches the JJJJound branding on the side, replacing the usual adidas text. The gum sole completes the look, giving the shoe a vintage vibe.
The collab is set to launch this month for $250 USD, and it's expected to be a hot item for sneakerheads and fans of both brands. Stay tuned!
