Jennie's Solo Album "Ruby" Released
Collabs & Coachella debut.
Jennie is officially entering her solo era. The BLACKPINK star has announced her highly anticipated debut album, Ruby dropped on March 7. With a lineup of unexpected collaborations and a fresh creative vision, Ruby is shaping up to be one of the year’s biggest releases.
A New Sound, A New Chapter
Featuring 15 tracks, Ruby sees Jennie stepping outside the K-pop mold and into a more genre-blending space. The album includes features from Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ, and Kali Uchis, offering a mix of R&B, alt-pop, and hip-hop influences.
Leading the way is "ExtraL", a dynamic collaboration with Doechii that sets the tone for what’s to come. The track arrives with a bold visual directed by Cole Bennett, bringing a cinematic edge to Jennie’s evolving sound.

Jennie’s set to perform solo at Coachella 2025, taking over the Sunday slots and proving she can command the stage on her own, a nice departure from her older work in BLACKPINK.
