How To Wear Kisses On Your Eyelids
A bold makeup look for Valentine’s Day.
Makeup artist Mei Pang (@meicrosoft) amassed an impressive 16.9M views for a tutorial they posted on TikTok that showed viewers how to achieve an innovative glam Valentine’s look.
The look uses lipstick “kisses” over the eyelids and cheekbones as the base for an eye makeup look. Pang begins by evenly applying a red lipstick, and then using a piece of cling film, transfers the lipstick by pressing the cling film against their lips in a “kiss”. They take the lipstick-covered cling film and press it against their closed eyelid, dabbing lightly all over to transfer all of the lipstick onto their skin.
They repeat the process to add more “kisses” to their eye and upper-cheekbone area, having them overlap slightly to give a more cohesive eye-makeup look. Pang sets the lipstick-look with translucent powder applied with a beauty blender, lightly dusting off the excess powder with a fluffy brush.
To complete the look, they apply a red blusher over the kisses to give the look more depth, and top with black winged eyeliner and lashes. Remember to reapply your original lipstick and there you have it - a complete, bold Valentine’s Day look.
