Gucci Takes to the Tennis Court
With its latest Capsule Collection.
In June, Gucci will launch a tennis capsule collection, a nod to its historic link with the sport that dates back to the ‘70s.
This move comes after the brand unveiled a campaign with Italian tennis ace Jannik Sinner and generated significant buzz online.
Sinner, a Gucci ambassador since 2022, appeared on the Roland Garros court sporting a Gucci x Head all-white leather duffel bag — a product of a unique collaboration.
The new collection reimagines traditional tennis attire with Gucci’s signature style. It includes men’s and women’s tennis sets featuring white shorts and skirts paired with tank tops or knitted polo shirts, all adorned with the house’s iconic green and red striped Web details.
Complementing the clothing are a variety of accessories such as a duffel bag, racket backpack, bag, and shoe holders, all in a white-on-white version of the GG monogram with striped Web accents.
Smaller accessories, including caps and wristbands, are also part of the lineup, alongside the Tennis 1977 and Ace sneakers crafted from white monogram canvas and leather.
A campaign dedicated to this collection is set to launch next month. This aligns with Gucci’s broader marketing efforts, following Sinner’s appearance in the brand’s “Gucci is a feeling” movement.
So sports fans and tenniscore lovers, do not miss.
