Glossier Lends A Hand To Healthcare Workers During COVID-19 Pandemic
The beauty brand donate 10,000 hand creams to US hospitals.
Yesterday, the beauty babes at Glossier announced on Instagram that they would be donating 10,000 of their new hand creams to healthcare professionals who are working on the front line during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The millennial favorites have been donating their balms, face mists and moisturizers over the past month but learned hand cream was in high demand as doctors and nurses struggle with dry and cracked skin from intense washing and sanitizing. Glossier, who is already due to launch the brands first-hand cream on April 23, asked US health workers to put forward their names so the new product could be sent to them and their teams before it is available to buy. The hand cream has been in production for nearly 2 years and comes in fully recyclable signature pink packaging.
Glossier is the latest in a long line of fashion and beauty brands stepping up to help during the crisis. The hand cream will be available online from April 23, price and further details TBC.
