Ganni Releases Upcycled Collection Made From Leftover Materials

Ready-to-wear luxury fashion brand, Ganni, jumps on the sustainable fashion bandwagon, we love to see it!

POSTED BY AINA JANKUNAS

Copenhagen-based fashion brand Ganni has recently dropped a new collection, unlike anything they've released before.

Creative director Ditte Reffstrup spoke about the collection, "I rummaged through our archives, reinterpreted signature silhouettes with contrasting prints and different fabrics. The collection feels familiar, in a good way - like meeting an old friend. It's Ganni through and through."

The Re-Cut collection is made entirely from unused rolls of fabric and past Ganni pieces. The upcycled drop consists of oversized patchwork dresses, funky sweaters/sweater vests, and high-fashion quilted garments in classic Ganni silhouettes.

The ready-to-wear fashion brand is making a "responsible transition into the new season" by stepping foot into the circular fashion world. Shop the new collection on their website and while you're at it, read their detailed responsibility report and commitment to sustainability here.
