Florence Tétier's New "Tattoo" Collection

A great tribute to Jean Paul Gaultier.

POSTED BY ZOE TYLER

The new "TATTOO" collection by Jean Paul Gaultier is a tribute to the legendary designer's legacy and a glimpse into his vision for the future. Florence Tétier, the creative director of JPG, has reworked Gaultier's hand-drawn body art collection from 2009, which was inspired by his Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2002 show. The result is a stunning collection of tops, dresses, skirts and tulle pieces that look like tattoos, piercings and body jewelry, in two skin tones and with different patterns.

Omahyra Mota and Mia Kidis are the faces of the collection, showcasing JPG's edgy and fun style. Tétier explains to Hypebeast that she wanted to make a collection that can adapt to any occasion, from day to night, from work to play, and from past to present.
