FKA Twigs 2022 International Woolmark Prize Collaboration
FKA Twigs directs and stars in film for Woolmark Prize.
FKA Twigs collaborated with the International Woolmark Prize to create a short film entitled ‘PLAYSCAPE.’ The film follows the singer and other artists as they perform abstract choreography around art sculptures from The Isamu Noguchi Foundation and Garden Museum.
Twigs served as a director for the project working alongside the Woolmark Prize. The International Woolmark Prize pushes designers to use wool and sustainable practices to create a collection. The prize would provide sponsorship, mentorship, and significant acclaim to the winner.
‘PLAYSCAPE’ includes designs from seven finalists including Ahluawalia, EGONLAB, Jordan Dalah, MMUSOMAXWELL, Peter Do, RUI and Saul Nash. The winner of the 2022 International Woolmark Prize will be announced April 26.
