Euphoria Style Breakdown: The Characters That Defined The Aesthetic
Get inside the wardrobes of your favorite characters.
Fans of Euphoria are rejoicing, as the third season of the series is finally here, giving us a glimpse into the new storylines and, more importantly, fresh wardrobe choices from our favorite characters. It’s one of those shows that arguably made a bigger impact with its amazing fashion than its plot. Were the outfits always school-appropriate? Not really. Did it make them any less iconic? Absolutely not!
What I loved the most about the show is how each character’s style reflects their personality and subtly evolves over time. Their fashion choices feel as distinct as they are, so let’s take a closer look.
Maddy Perez

Even though Rue is the lead and narrator of the series, it’s Maddy who truly steals the spotlight, being the show’s main fashionista. She delivers not only unforgettable lines but standout style moments as well. Her aesthetic is bold and attention-grabbing, rooted in edgy glam. She gravitates toward rich tones, with her palette getting noticeably darker in the second season, mirroring her emotional journey. And, of course, let’s not forget her hairstyles and makeup, which became the defining elements of her look.
Cassie Howard

Cassie, on the other hand, is the most inconsistent character in terms of style. Her struggles with identity are clearly reflected in her visuals. It’s quite hard to describe her style in one word, as it ranges from soft, feminine dresses to more daring, Maddy-inspired pieces. Still, Cassie maintains a signature element—pastel tones, especially baby blue and dusty pink, which complement her features beautifully.
Rue Bennet

Rue has never been particularly interested in fashion, which is understandable, considering everything going on in her life. She chooses practicality over style, her choices revolving around tees, hoodies, Converse sneakers, and relaxed silhouettes. And honestly? Her style feels effortlessly cool. Perhaps not as polished as her friends, but deeply authentic and perfectly aligned with her character.
Lexi Howard

While Maddy’s looks often dominate the conversation, it’s Lexi who became my personal favorite, at least fashion-wise. She was hands-down the most mature and grounded character, and her outfits reflect that calm, thoughtful nature. Muted tones, structured pieces, classic designs, and preppy style define her aesthetic, making her style feel understated yet refined.
Jules Vaughn

The title of the ultimate Y2K muse easily goes to Jules. Being an artistic free spirit, her wardrobe rarely follows strict rules. She isn't afraid to experiment with different silhouettes, unexpected color and pattern combinations, adding a touch of nostalgia and hippie-inspired fashion. Somehow Jules always manages to make it work. I love the contrast of her looks: they feel soft, yet playful and expressive at the same time.
Kat Hernandez

Kat undergoes the most dramatic style transformation in the series. At the beginning of season one, she’s insecure with her looks, and her outfits feel reserved and uncertain. But as her confidence grows, they shift into a grunge-goth aesthetic with darker pieces, edgy details, and statement accessories. It’s a shame we won’t see her in the new season, as I’d love to see how her style developed further.
If you’re ready to channel your inner Euphoria energy, you’re definitely not alone. And my Fizzypicks are here to help.
