Elliot Page, the actor known from The Umbrella Academy, came out as transgender three weeks ago. He expressed an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for people who were by his side along the way.
Yesterday, he also thanked everyone who supported him AFTER his coming out, which is equally important. ‘Your love and support has been the greatest gift,’ he shared in an Instagram post.
He also encouraged his fans to share love during the festive period and aid two charities, Transanta and Trans Lifeline. The first one provides different wishlists which enable the givers to buy presents for trans youth in need. Trans Lifeline, on the other hand, offers peer support and crisis hotline for trans people.
