Pushing Away Gender Stereotypes Shot By Stella Thai

POSTED BY CARMEN CROMMELIN

Stylist Natalie Pertsoulis has perfectly balanced the line of hard-core train writer and minimalist elegance, not exactly an easy mix. Photographer Stella Thai has softened the bare lines of minimalist architecture with light blasted film. Model Shirin Brigitte plays the perfect muse between photographer and stylist, using movement to break up the composition. The style teeters on the Vetements trend, pushing away gender stereotypes and embracing a modernity in dress. Fizzy backs a girl who can go out and tag a wall, then come back home and enjoy a white wine and read Dezeen. This shoot kind of makes you feel like it’s possible to do both and look really cool at the same time, and surely that’s the brand of balance we’re all buying, right?
