Dr Martens x Yohji Yamamoto Is Next Up In 1460 Remastered Project

It’s the 4th collaboration in the brand’s 60th anniversary celebration!

POSTED BY KATT RODRIGUES

Dr. Martens is celebrating its 60th anniversary in style! The latest collab with Yohji Yamamoto is part 4 of the brands 1460 Remastered project, which sees the footwear giant teaming up with 12 designers on a series of limited edition shoes all with unique design features. Yamamoto was one of the first designers to ever collaborate with Dr. Martens back in the day, so it only seems fitting that they merge together again on another fire piece of footwear.

Following on from BAPE, Hello Kitty & Raf Simons, Yamamoto’s boot channels the designer's signature dark color palettes & chic gothic edge to his designs. It’s no surprise that the base color is all black with a shimmer of orange in its leather upper and spider web print detailing surrounding the boot.

Dr. Martens signature stitching covers the soles in that same stunning orange hue and a silver spider embellishment rests on the shoelaces. Yamamoto's signature appears on the tongue & insoles and the design is finished off with gold eyelets.

These limited edition boots are channeling some real Halloween vibes and we are here for it! You won’t have to wait until October to grab yourself a pair however, the design will be available via Dr. Martens online store on April 25th.
