This is not for men – and we cannot get enough.

Within the restored Holy Trinity Bow Church in Mile End, East London, Turkish-born designer Dilara Findikoğlu debuts her FW23 collection. With Real Housewives star Lisa Rinna and U.K Drag Royalty Bimini Bon Boulash looking on, the gothic yet sexual collection was presented.

Findikoğlu is known for her nonconforming viewpoint when it comes to femininity, and this collection was no exception. Entitled "Not A Man's Territory," Findikoğlu said that the collection formed around the time of the arrest and, later, death in custody of Mahsa Amini in Iran last November. Models delivered a spectral tone to the sounds of heels hitting wood while presenting clothes featuring sharp silverware, destroyed and damaged tights, corsets, and safety pins. Looks such as #15 show the feminine distress that the designer so intentionally included alongside a sensual edge, highlighting the contrasting nature of femininity but also the autonomy of a woman's body.

The defiance that IS punk combined with a subtle yet obvious attention to detail really brought the collection to life. The use of materials such as leather and latex alongside sliced lace ensure that the gothic sexuality stands strong within the collection but also portrays the intense amount of thought and craftsmanship that has gone into every piece as a part of the collection as a whole. The clothes stand to shout a message into society; a woman's body is her own.
