COWZ Unleash "ELEPHANT": A Glitchy, Political Alt-Pop Anthem

New single out now, EP coming this summer.

Brighton’s favorite alt-pop disruptors, COWZ, just released their new single “ELEPHANT” on May 21, and it’s every bit the bold, glitchy anthem we needed.

Dripping in hyperpop energy and backed by unapologetically political lyrics, the track explores gossip not as drama, but as a survival tool—especially for women and LGBTQ+ communities. “I’m a gossip, not a liar,” sings Tasha, with the kind of venom-laced clarity that makes you want to chant along. Out now on all major platforms via APOLLO Distribution, this track isn’t here to play nice—it’s here to call things out.

Punk Energy, Pop Hooks

Tasha and Saga are no strangers to shaking the table. Describing their sound as “girl’s girl music with violent and political undertones,” COWZ have built a cult following with raw live sets and genre-scrambling tracks. Think glitchy electronics meet Regina George’s inner monologue, all wrapped in a sweaty club hug. With mainstage slots locked for Truck, Y Not, Tramlines, and more, plus a new EP dropping later this summer, they’re clearly not slowing down.

Riot Grrrls for the Now Gen

Whether it’s Kerrang! calling them “the future of punk” or Radio 6 backing their last single “DOMINATION,” COWZ are riding a wave of support that’s as loud as their message. Their festival sets are legendary, their lyrics cut deep, and their latest single proves they're not afraid to get personal—or political. ELEPHANT is fierce, fun, and exactly the kind of feminist hyperpop anthem 2025’s been waiting for.
