CMF Gives Portable Audio A Visual Identity
Not another boring speaker.
The design-focused brand associated with Nothing has entered portable audio with two new models, Speaker S and Speaker M. Both feature bold colors, removable components and customizable sound, bringing a little more individuality to a category that often looks suspiciously samey.
Even better, prices start at $59.
Meet the Speakers That Look Like Tiny Milk Cartons

The upright, geometric designs come in White, Dark Grey, Orange and Turquoise. Speaker S is the compact option, weighing 334 grams and featuring a hook for attaching it to a bag or strap. Speaker M is larger, with an integrated handle and a more powerful audio system.
Both feature replaceable front panels and control knobs, with plans for 3D-printable customization files that could let owners create their own designs.
So your speaker doesn't have to look exactly the same as everyone else's. Imagine that.
One Is for Taking Out, One Is for Turning Up

The $59 Speaker S uses a 10W driver and two passive radiators to help deliver fuller bass in a compact body. The $109 Speaker M steps things up with a dedicated woofer and tweeter, delivering 35W total output for stronger bass and clearer separation between instruments and vocals.
Both offer up to 18 hours of battery life and IP68 water and dust protection, making them suitable for everything from desk setups to outdoor hangs.
Your Sound, Your Rules

Through the Nothing X app, listeners can adjust the equalizer, choose presets or create their own sound profile. Both models also support stereo pairing with a second matching speaker and Auracast-powered Party Mode for synchronized playback across compatible devices.
Bluetooth 6.0, NFC pairing, dual-device connectivity and USB-C audio round out the feature list. The USB-C connection supports low-latency playback, which is useful for watching videos or gaming on a computer.
And yes, there is a physical control knob. Turn it to adjust playback and volume, because sometimes an actual button is better than digging through an app.
Affordable Tech Doesn't Have to Be Boring

The CMF Speaker S and Speaker M launched October 12, 2026, priced at $59 and $109 respectively, in four colorways. Both are available through Nothing's online store and selected retailers.
The real appeal isn't just the sound or the price. It's the idea that an everyday gadget can be functional, customizable and fun to look at.
Your playlist already has personality. Your speaker might as well catch up.
