Champion Release Drop 2 Of Its Sustainable Re:Bound Collection

“Do good by the planet while looking your best”.

POSTED BY EMMANUELLE GAMMAGE

Last year, Champion released it’s first sustainable collection called Re:Bound. This January, the second drop has arrived in washed black.

Fronting the Australian and NZ collection is ex NBL player, and now turned designer Obi Kyei and sustainability advocate Amber. Kyei told his Instagram followers “they are producing some amazing tings, doing their part for the planet! Much respect”.

The seven piece vintage styled collection consisting of a t-shirt, crew sweatshirt, hoodies, shorts and sweatpants is made using excess fabric from discarded production. The fabric is then blended with virgin cotton and spun into new yarn and finally dipped in dye.

Champion call this drop “the next step on our journey towards pioneering products that protect our planet”.
