Champion And HoMie Collaborate For New “REBORN” Upcycled Collection

The brands are on a mission to help save the planet and fight homelessness.

POSTED BY LYDIA MAKIN

American athletic brand Champion has teamed up with Australian streetwear and social enterprise label HoMie to create a capsule collection of upcycled garments, crafted from donated Champion clothing and excess materials.

Not only are the brands using sustainable methods to create eclectic clothing and help fight the war on waste, but they are also doing their bit to tackle poverty and homelessness. All profits made from the collaboration will go towards HoMie’s social impact programs, which support young people affected by hardship and homelessness.

“In sharing our excess sample stock, we’re able to continue to reduce our environmental footprint and at the same time support the incredible work that HoMie do during these unprecedented times,” Jo Holding, Divisional Manager of Champion, said in a statement.

Pieces in the “REBORN” collection range in price from $50 to $280 and can be purchased online from the HoMie website.
