FILA marks 113 years.

As tennis season heats up, FILA is celebrating both the sport and its 113-year heritage with a special CASA FILA pop-up in New York City’s Nolita neighborhood. The pop-up, which launched on August 29, honors the brand’s deep ties to tennis, fashion, and Italian culture, bringing a taste of Biella, Italy—FILA’s hometown—to the streets of NYC.

FILA, long known for its influence at the intersection of sport and style, created the pop-up to offer a unique blend of nostalgia and innovation. The experience includes live screenings of tennis matches, giving visitors a chance to stay in the tournament spirit while exploring FILA’s latest releases and archival pieces. The CASA FILA collection, launched earlier this summer, draws inspiration from traditional country club attire mixed with FILA’s signature aesthetic. Expect key items like preppy sweater vests, sleek track suits, and statement footwear.

The event also embraced Italian lifestyle with DJ Marco Weibel providing the soundtrack and a Bellissimo bar serving up custom cocktails such as the Bellissimo Aceto and Hazelnut-inspired drinks. Starting on September 21, the pop-up will add a complimentary espresso and gelato bar, available every weekend through October 6, making it a perfect fall destination.

On October 2, the space will host a conversation between a FILA archivist and James Harris of Throwing Fits, diving into the brand’s history and future. Throughout the event, guests can participate in an interactive photo mood board that captures the excitement and showcases the new collection in action.

The CASA FILA pop-up runs through October 12 at 242 Elizabeth St., offering a chance for fans to explore FILA’s legacy firsthand. To discover more about the collection, visit fila.com.
