Why I'm Making my Bras Visible... And Why You Should Too

Recently I've been obsessed with the bra- as-a-top and visible-lingerie aesthetic. It's been around for years, but this season has brought even bolder looks. This trend has taken over my feed, and honestly, I'm not complaining.

If you're scrolling through Instagram, you already know @sierrarenas is the queen of this look. Her effortless ability to turn lingerie into a fashion statement is pure art. She made me want to try it out, and I'm grateful that I did.

I've always been someone who loves the wild, riské side of fashion, but I'll admit that even I was a bit skeptical about trying this for the first time, especially being on the bustier side. Finding that balance between intentional fashion and an accidental slip can feel tricky.

Pairing a lace bra with low-waisted jeans immediately says this was a choice and not a malfunction. And when I tell you it's been my go-to trend this summer (and honestly might be making an appearance during fall as well), I mean it.

While any bra can work, I personally gravitate towards ones with lace, beads, or some kind of unique design or pattern.
