Billie said Variety outed her when they gave her an award. She posted on Instagram on Sunday: "Thanks Variety for my award and for also outing me on a red carpet at 11 am instead of talking about anything else that matters. Literally, who cares."
Some fans thought she was hinting at her sexuality before by theorizing but nothing was set in stone, but truly, does it matter so much in 2023?
Billie was very open about her genderless fashion choices before, maybe these are the hints she thought were obvious to her fans. Either way, an artist reflects their personal choices, nobody should be forced into admitting anything.
