What Color Will Define Autumn 2026?

Predicting the niche upcoming color trends.

Each season, the fashion world delivers us a new trending color that you won’t be able to escape by the season’s peak. I’m really intrigued to see what color we’ll be getting for Autumn 2026 — I need to start planning my outfits!

Of course, each season has its classic colors that come back every year, so it’s a given that we’ll be seeing a lot of brown, tan, and burgundy this autumn. What I’m curious about is the niche color pick for 2026.

We’ve had butter yellow, turquoise, and bottle green as the colors of recent seasons, so I’m starting to form some theories about what we have to come.

A perfect follow-on from summer 2026’s turquoise explosion would be a more toned-down, pastel cornflower blue. I’m definitely seeing this color pop up here and there as autumn fashion starts to take over, and I think it pairs beautifully with chocolate brown.

Less specifically, I also think shades of baby pink are going to have a moment. Usually a typical spring color, I actually didn’t see much of it throughout spring and early summer, but I think it’s been popping up a lot more now that summer is ending. I don’t think we’ve seen the last of baby pink — autumn 2026 will have it styled in ways we’ve never seen before!

Sticking with the bright/pastel color trend, I think we’ll be swapping black for white this season. Instead of black jeans, tights, and accessories, I think white will take their place. I’m obsessed with the contrast of dark, traditional autumn tones with bright white, and I’m certainly seeing a lot of it already as we enter autumn!
