Global design muse Cecilie Bahnsen is the first creative tapped to bring a fresh voice to an archival silhouette, delivering the GEL-CUMULUS™ 16 SSCB sneaker: all delicate femininity layered over ASICS’ legendary performance soul.

Reissued from its 2014 debut, the GEL-CUMULUS™ 16 gets recast through Bahnsen’s “Everyday Couture” lens — think floral-printed uppers, semi-transparent mesh, and a custom floral lace toggle. It’s a shoe made for movement, but styled like a dream.

Sound Mind, Soft Shadows, Strong Sole 

Cecilie’s design leans into contrasts: light vs. structure, softness vs. utility, the romance of a flower against the functionality of a tech-forward sole. “We were inspired by flowers casting faint shadows in pale sunlight,” she says — and it shows in every detail.
