A$AP Rocky Joins 'NFT' Party
The rapper is releasing his first-ever digital collection.
A$AP Rocky has decided to join the non-fungible token ‘movement’ after announcing the release of his first NFT collection, which will be available through Nifty Gateway this week. The 32-year-old rapper is one of the latest in the game to take part in this ‘viral items’ business, following artists such as Soulja Boy, Azealia Banks and Quavo, who teamed up with Lil Baby, 2 Chainz and Jack Harlow.
NFTs work as digital certificates of authenticity or simpler, as a form of cryptocurrency, allowing for intangible collectibles like tweets, posts or digital art to be sold and traded. Over the past few months, NFTs have become one of the most effortless ways to earn money in the music industry, so it was quite obvious that the ‘Sundress’ rapper, who is known for his creativity and experimenting, would not fall behind with 'securing the bag' this way.

The Harlem rapper shared a 25-sec promo video of the upcoming drop via his Twitter on Saturday, comprising ‘select pieces’ and a snippet of an unreleased song titled ‘Sandman’ – with all being promoted by the AWGE Shopping Network.
But Rocky has much more to offer – by purchasing the NFT pack, you will automatically enter a raffle to win ‘one of the vehicles from the Injured Generation tour’ or a chance to visit Rocky at a studio and listen to his new album, presumably called All $milles.
NFT Collection is set to release on April 21, 2021, at 7 PM EST on Nifty Gateway’s website.
