Anti Social Social Club’s New 90’s Inspired Collection Is All That And A Bag Of Chips!
Once again wishing I grew up in the 90’s!
Anti Social Social Club is feeling nostalgic this Fall/Winter season. They just announced that their new collection, “False Promises”, will be dropping on July 16th, and it’s 90’s inspired! However, this isn’t your typical Jennifer Aniston, Spice Girls, Winona Ryder 90’s fashion. ASSC takes their collection in the opposite direction of 90’s grunge, with flashy, quirky, and bold looks.

When shown all together, the pieces from this new collection can look overwhelming and noisy. But when broken down, “False Promises” is a collection of comfortable statement pieces. Of course, Anti Social Social Club couldn’t do a collection without branded hoodies. They almost always do the Anti Social Social Club lettering in colorful, psychedelic fonts that are almost optical illusions. And this collection is no different, the letters are bright and funky, featured in a bouquet of flowers, and blurred or chunky letters. They also included hoodies without the brand, opting for YES lettering on one hoodie and NO on the other. The pants in this collection also make a statement. ASSC included pin-striped slacks, flouncy skirts, and patterned sweatpants.
But the collection doesn’t stop at the clothes. ASSC included all sorts of accessories from a brain-patterned baseball cap to checkered tote bags and backpacks to branded and tie dyed socks to dog collars. The accessories are just as detailed as the main pieces, if not more, and allow customers to dip into this funky aesthetic.
“False Promises” explores the 90’s fashion that we so often forget about. It brings the fun and color that we saw from icons like Lil’ Kim, Gwen Stefani, and Christina Aguilera, but keeps it modern and wearable. The collection will be launching on Antisocialsocialclub.com on July 16th.
