Angelina Kendall: The Anointed One

Who is new It girl Angelina Kendall, I hear you asking. Well, aside from the fact that she’s a 19-year-old girl hailing from Sydney Australia who was originally going to train as a GP, she’s now also a freshly-scouted supermodel signed to The Industry Model Management, gracing the glossy magazine covers of British Vogue, Holiday Magazine, and Vogue Australia. Let’s get to know this new modeling superstar.

Kendall grew up living between Narrabeen, Rio De Janeiro, and Wagga Wagga with her Brazilian mother and New Zealander father. And since being discovered in 2021, she has most certainly ‘walked the walk’ to kickstart her thrilling new career. Kendall started out by hoping to impress Piergiorgio Del Moro, casting director to the stars, picking models for brands such as Versace, Gucci, and Victoria’s Secret. Fast-forward a few months and this girl was making her catwalk debut by walking the runway for the Khaite show.

When she started receiving more and more bookings after this show from designers such as Valentino, Givenchy, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel, it was clear that – although her career had only just begun – it would take a long while for it to end. To reiterate, this superstar is only 19, and yet she’s a part of campaigns for high-end designers, has attended the Business of Fashion gala, and has been the star of shows for Ralph Lauren and Saint Laurent (to name only a handful.)

We can’t help but wonder why this girl in particular has risen to become the shining star that she is now, bright amongst the others who have come before her. Well, if you want to follow in this model's footsteps, grab a notepad and pen and take note of a few answers from designers who have grown to adore working with her.  

The creative director of designer brand Chloé shared with British Vogue magazine that Kendall ‘has this radiant vitality that I love. She also reflected that ‘her natural glow comes from the inside. She is such a special spirit.’ Another big name, Stella McCartney, shared her thoughts with the fashion magazine stating ‘She’s got great energy...she just really shines, and she’s got a great sense of humor. She’s properly alive.’ And if these aren’t good enough answers for you then we don’t know what to tell you!

Apparently, as model lore goes, a supermodel like the Greats only arrives every 10 years or so. So, for Angelina, this truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her to break into the modeling scene, and show the world who she is. We are more than thrilled for her breakthrough, and cannot wait to see where her career takes her.
