Dedicated to fans of Depeche Mode, Portishead, electronics or techno, 'An Infinite Divide' by Peakes sounds like a perfect song to be played on the main stage at a festival when the sun is setting, while beer is circulating in your veins. 

The band met at the Leeds Conservatoire in 2017 and it makes sense as northern English vibes of indie rock define their music most accurately. They blend a lot of genres though and their first 2021 single, 'An Infinite Divide' is a perfect example of their powerful and beautiful combinations. Guitar meets synth piano, electronic music meets rock, dancy rhythm meets contemplative lyrics. All thanks to effortlessly talented singer and chief lyricist, Molly, whose voice flows on the surface of this electro-pop anthem.
