All The Hats We're Going To See This Fall
I need a cadet cap.
I was shopping in Urban Outfitters recently and, while looking at their array of hats, found myself wondering what we're going to see people wearing this fall.
Their “cadet caps” — not a far cry from baker boy or newsboy hats — reminded me of the iconic one Coraline wears. That movie had a hold on me all throughout my childhood, and I realised what a waste it was to have never adopted my own signature hat. I own a few colorful pieces, but I need something dark or denim that goes with everything.
That's especially key when considering fall color palettes. Whether it's Urban Outfitters or any other store, the fall/winter hat collections tend to lean towards the Gilmore Girls / Twilight vibe rather than anything too bold.
Crochet hats are another guarantee for the coming season. Whether it's Daniela Serrano or Amy Kev, crochet is the go-to look on influencers at the moment, and considering how cute they are, I can't say I'm mad.
