Adidas Originals' Deerupt Sneaker Makes Grids Cool Again
Bold minimalism.
If you've had a longtime aversion to grids since your school teachers forced you to keep your handwriting inside of one, you might just be about to change your mind. Unlike the – honestly, pretty meh – grid designs that do the fashion rounds every other spring/summer, the new adidas Originals Deerupt sneaker is much more conceptual.
If your current screwed-up face is a symptom of your trypophobia as you behold all of those little holes, then why did you even click on this article? You cute masochist, you.
The super-comfy, lightweight design is inspired by urban planning, architecture and natural phenomena, with a knit upper covered with a stretchable mesh. The colorway combines adidas hues 'Solar Red' and 'Bluebird' to form a red-blue 'Solar Bird.'
The adidas Originals Deerupt drops on March 22 for $100.
