Teddy Bear Footwear: Adidas Unveils Plushie-Topped Slides In Collaboration With Jeremy Scott
Adidas has rekindled its partnership with the Moschino creative director.
Famous for its A-list collaborators, from Kendall Jenner to Kanye West, Adidas has also previously partnered with Moschino’s creative director, Jeremy Scott. Their past partnerships, beginning in the early 2000s, have combined avant-garde high fashion with activewear. On June 2, 2021, the sportswear brand announced that it is rekindling its collaboration with the American designer.
The revamped Adilette Slides feature a tangerine plushie teddy bear perched atop a furry, canary yellow forefoot strap. The slide’s remaining body complements the strap in a deeper yellow shade. Honorably named the JS Teddy, the plushie accessory originally appeared on the Adidas Originals silhouette during Scott’s first alliance with the brand. The eccentric slide is also set to feature in the collaborator’s upcoming collection, as seen in capsule’s promotional material.
