OUR LEGACY’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, “BLOOD KNOT,” is a hot, hazy day in a fishing village distilled into pure sartorial energy. The vibe is all about that tension between escape and entrapment. Models appear as though they’ve just stumbled off the shore, their sweat-soaked garments clinging to them like second skin, hair dripping with saltwater. It’s not the polished seaside fantasy you’re used to—it’s the messy, chaotic beauty of life on the coast, and it’s irresistible.

The collection doesn’t just borrow from the beach; it transforms it. Fishing nets are reimagined into delicate knitwear and crochet pieces, while jewelry looks like it’s been scavenged straight from the sand—think bottle caps, seashells, tangled fishing rods, and knots reworked into silver rings and necklaces. It’s giving DIY beachcomber, but make it luxury.

The color palette? Pure seaside poetry. Soft blues, greens, and rusts channel early morning light, while hits of plum and burgundy in pieces like the Court Coat and Horizon Jacket mimic the oxidized stains saltwater leaves behind. OUR LEGACY co-founder Cristopher Nying says the inspo came from photos of boat engines wrapped in mismatched fabrics and string—utilitarian meets unexpected beauty. “It’s about community,” he explains. “Taking what you have and turning it into something that works, something beautiful.”
