This April, For Love and Lemons celebrated their pop-up shop collab with Bucatini showcasing their new dreamy pieces. They invited some lucky guests to their Summer Market to preview ‘Sunday Forever’, a collection inspired by slow living and serene summers in Italy. Guests were treated with fresh seasonal produce from local Los Angeles farms, and Italian goods such as fresh bread and pasta from Bucatini, as well as spectacular summer blooms.

The guests were able to play dress-up in the ‘Sunday Forever’ collection which is said to be an ode to the tranquil allure of a slow sunday in the Italian countryside with features of embroidered linens, vintage-inspired dresses, demure, and airy separates. The soft and unapologetically feminine pieces radiate a cottage-core aesthetic, a testament to the art of savouring life’s simple pleasures. Their romantic and feminine collection transports wearers to a realm where nostalgia intertwines with the simplicity of rural living, evoking images of sun-drenched meadows and leisurely strolls through quaint villages.

‘Sunday Forever’ explores delicate lace, intricate embroidery, charming gingham patterns, and patchwork, each element lending a touch of rustic elegance to the garments. As seen regularly throughout their collections, fruits and florals, symbolic of natural beauty adorn the For Love and Lemons' designs.

In essence, For Love & Lemons' aesthetic is a celebration of the beauty found in simplicity—This was brought to life at the Summer Market event through their thoughtful designs. The brand invites wearers to embrace romance and embark on a journey of nostalgia, where every garment tells a story of summers past and dreams yet to unfold.
