Caro Editions SS26: A Rebel Bride Walks The City
With an urban setting, Caroline Bille Brahe showcases her edgy, modern style with romance.
Caro Editions took an unconventional turn for their SS26 runway, staging their show under a Copenhagen bridge—an unapologetically urban setting that captured the gritty romance at the heart of the brand. Against the backdrop of cobblestones, grey skies, and city traffic, designer Caroline Bille Brahe brought her signature mix of irony, softness, and playful femininity to the streets.
From the moment the first model stepped out, it was clear this wasn’t your average runway. The looks balanced vintage references with a cool-girl edge: flirty sheer dresses, ruffled separates, raw silk trousers cinched with bows, and oversized lace pieces that felt bridal—but not in the traditional sense. There were nods to ceremony—white, frills, and delicate textures—but always styled with a wink.
One of the final looks featured a model in a lace hoodie layered over a silk windbreaker and paired with custom Crocs—a perfectly irreverent twist that summed up the entire collection. The Caro woman might be romantic, but she’s never precious. She’ll wear a tulle dress with muddy shoes and make it look intentional.
Since its founding in 2022, Caro Editions has stood out as a confident new voice in Copenhagen fashion—one that’s not afraid to blur the lines between nostalgia and now. SS26 proved that emotion, irony, and ease can live in the same outfit. Sometimes the most magical fashion moments don’t happen in ballrooms or show venues—but right under a bridge.
