For the past year or so, scrolling through TikTok, Instagram, or Pinterest has felt like déjà vu: slicked-back buns, gold minimalist jewelry, neutral outfits—and, of course, a whole lot of Blank Street Matcha and Pilates everywhere I turn. Trust me, there’s no one who loves the “Clean Girl Aesthetic” more than me. Day 3 unwashed hair? Slick it back. Overpriced White Chocolate Matcha? I’ll take ten. A clean, beige fit? I’ll wear it any day of the week. But I know I'm not the only one who misses being a mess—not emotionally (that's only seasonal, of course), but aesthetically.
