Makeup can enhance personal style and can make a statement about individuality. Makeup is the brush to a blank canvas. It lets the user create shapes with eyeliner and mix and match colors with foundation or eyeshadow to achieve an aesthetic look.

Men should wear makeup because it can boost their confidence. It does this by hiding imperfections or improving features.

In a survey of 6,600 men by the Hot Pepper Beauty Academy, 28% said they used makeup to "appear young" and 24% to "impress others in the workplace" (Masuda, Yuki).

Men should wear makeup because many products have ingredients that offer skincare benefits. Hyaluronic acid is now added for hydration and Niacinamide to brighten skin. 
Men choose to wear makeup for its looks and protection properties. This is particularly important for those with sensitive skin or those who desire a fresh, radiant complexion.

We are not in an age where labels are adhered to a specific group of people. We are in a time where we can sympathize and understand an individual's choices. We should all move beyond confining people with stereotypes and promote inclusivity by wearing a little makeup.
