Louis Vuitton is opening its first restaurant in Japan
Crossing over into hospitality, the french luxury house Louis Vuitton is all set to open doors for its Cafe and restaurant in Japan.
Le Café V will be located on the top floor of the brand’s four story Flagship store in Osaka Maison. Featuring a menu by Japanese chef Yosuke Sug, the restaurant will also include an adjoining bar and a spacious terrace right next to Sugalabo V, which will serve dinner to guests utilizing an open kitchen mirroring the Tokyo branch of Sugalabo.
Designed by Peter Marino, who has also designed stores for LV and Dior, confirms that he’ll be designing the first Paris branch of Langosteria, a high-end seafood restaurant in Milan popular with the fashion crowd
Michael Burke, the chairman and chief executive officer of Louis Vuitton has suggested that LV will be opening other restaurants, and hotels, in the future.
Le Café V is scheduled to open February 15, following the opening of Louis Vuitton’s new Osaka boutique on February 1.
