Alex Olson seamlessly launched Bianca Chandon, a brand inspired by a love for late-70s subcultures, in a very do-it-yourself way. He art directed and styled his own campaign, carefully picked the name, and thoughtfully chose the right T-Shirts and fits for his line.

After stopping at Girl Skateboards, Alex Olsen followed his interest in design and launched his own label Bianca Chandon (the name is a composite of Bianca Jagger and the name of racing driver Olivier Chandon) inspired by the subcultures of the late '70s. Influences range from the buzzing sounds of the legendary New York nightclub Paradise Garage (he even designed his own Capsule Collection in memory of the legendary DJ Larry Levan) to the tucked-in and washed-out street styles from Tom Bianchi's Polaroids Fire Island Pines, the deck's limited collections and the clothes of Bianca Chandon are not just for skaters.
Unlike the Yellow Pages, the more fire we can get, the better.
