Work Out Like A Pro With Naomi Osaka And Nike’s Collab

The bodysuit is reason enough to go to the gym.

POSTED BY MEREDITH LABUDA

Naomi Osaka and Nike have teamed up once again to create a capsule collection for summer. The pieces were first seen being worn on the court by Naomi at the Madrid Open, but Naomi wants the collection to be for everyone. She told Nike that she wants people “...to enjoy the styling process when they’re putting together their looks.” and she wants the collection to make them feel bold and empowered.

The collection is trademarked by Naomi’s NO logo and by the very bold lime green and ocean blue heatmap-inspired pattern. The pattern, like many of the shirts and jackets, is unisex and just one of example of how practical and creative the collection is.

The collection contains basics in their cropped tennis tank tops, breathable shorts and tennis t-shirts, but also combines fashion and function with some statement pieces. Their jackets have venting to help keep cool as well as large pockets and an adjustable hood and can even be folded up and transformed into a bag to carry tennis balls. The corset jacket is another standout, managing to be baggy and fitted all at once. But the most unique piece of this collection is the bodysuit. The pattern is enough to make this suit stand out, and the stitching helps create a beautiful silhouette. And of course, mesh fabric on the back and legs helps create venting to cool off any tennis star or wannabe tennis star who rocks this bodysuit.
