What Are The Rave Girls Wearing At The Moment?

I don't know about you, but when I want to know what's in at the moment, I turn to the rave girls. I'm not much of a raver myself, but who is better equipped to know what's fashionable than the sparkliest and most outlandish on the scene? I've recently noticed a lot of common themes online in rave outfits on my socials, so here are the ones to watch out for.

To begin with, I have to mention silver sequins. I'll never get tired of flashy metallics, because they're so synonymous to me with parties, raves, concerts - everything lively and fun! Silver sequin skirts and tops are both great statement pieces, but when I'm feeling bold, I go for a matching set - life is too short to avoid a bit of sparkle.

I've been seeing an increase in ravers wearing keyrings and bag charms from their belts and belt loops, creating a maximalist summer look that would make Zara Larsson proud. As an avid trinket lover, this has to be the most exciting trend I've seen recently, and I'm defo going to be stealing this for the club.

Another common rave girl motif: plunging cowl necks. These have been EVERYWHERE on my feed. It's the perfect way to add a bit of wow to your look - I prefer to wear a bikini or bra underneath, but you could ditch it altogether if you're going for something more risqué. Every time I see someone donning this neckline, I'm reminded that this will be this year's big thing, because it's seeped into clubbing fits, evening wear, even prom dresses!

And fringe will always be a staple of rave culture. Fringe boots, fringe bags, as much fringe as humanly possible. It so effortlessly channels early 2010s Miley Cyrus and makes me feel like I'm living my dream boho summer. Brown or black fringe with chunky gold jewellery would be sure to make the ravers proud.
