Vans Vault Honours Frida Kahlo In New Collab Collection

Much loved Mexican artist Frida Kahlo made a lasting impression on this generation and inspiring self-love with her pieces. Her self portraits and other art is still making waves decades after their creation, so it’s only fitting to give the late artist her own spring of collaborative works. 

Sprawled heavy-handedly across fast fashion you can see many prints of Kahlo’s but this latest collection is artfully and thoughtfully done. Anaheim-based imprint Vans is set to use some it’s most iconic silhouettes to showcase Kahlo’s work. 

The slip-on features her most definitive of self-portraits, the Authentic looks summery with an all-over “watermelon” mosaic, and the Sk8-Hi is the most subdued of the collection featuring “Las Dos Frida” across its profile.

You can expect the collection to hit selected retailers on the 29^th June.
