Valentina Teinitzer Makes Her Solo Debut

Exploring themes of memory, resilience, and silent presence.

Stuttgart’s PARRI BLANK Gallery opens its doors to Soft Construct, the first solo exhibition by Valentina Teinitzer, founder of Studio De Pasquale. The show transforms the gallery into a living installation anchored by towering olive branch formations—some rising over 3.5 meters—set somewhere between ritual, sculpture, and landscape. It’s an environment less about spectacle and more about presence, where atmosphere and silence build their own architecture.

Olive trees as memory and resistance

At the heart of Teinitzer’s work is the olive tree, long a symbol of peace, endurance, and healing. Drawing from her Mediterranean childhood, she folds in memories of heat shimmer, flickering shadows, and the stillness of olive groves. Beauty here isn’t decorative—it’s an ethic, an invitation to root oneself in resilience. Alongside the monumental branches, she introduces preserved sculptural works made from natural materials, expanding on themes of fragility, transience, and quiet strength.
