Instagram Is Obsessing Over Urban Decay's Naked Skin Illuminizer
Knock out shine.
Ever since Urban Decay launched its very first Naked Palette back in 2012, the Naked craze has been real. So real that five years later, there’s a complete Naked line with dozens of products including eye shadow palettes, foundation, lip-gloss, blush and even nail polish. Now, a new member is joining the Naked family, and it may be the most exciting edition yet.
Urban Decay just launched the Naked Skin The Illuminizer Translucent Pressed Beauty Powder, and the Internet has gone wild.
Yesterday, UD posted a teaser of the powder on Instagram with the caption, “Knock out shine. Keep your glow. The Illuminizer.” A few hours later, the post had racked up 90,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
So, what’s so special about this powder? It’s meant to diffuse light, blurring any flaws you don’t want front and center. Like the Ultra Definition powder, it has a silky feel and can easily be layered for more coverage. You can lightly apply this powder for that blurring effect or go a little heavier for some serious highlighter action. If you like UD’s setting powder, we think we’ve found your new favorite. Grab Urban Decay’s Illuminizer at Sephora, Ulta or Macy’s starting June 12.
