Urban Decay Launches Collection In Honor Of Prince
His estate says it's been a long time coming.
Urban Decay has had some impressive collaborations over the years - but this one is still set to make a splash. The makeup brand has teamed up with Prince’s estate, and his longtime muse and dancer Damaris Lewis, to create a seven-piece, limited edition makeup collection in honor of the late musician.
It features two palettes, two eyeliners, a highlighter, a powder and a brush, all emblazoned with Prince’s iconic ‘love symbol’.
Lewis, who features in the campaign, worked closely with the musician for many years - eventually becoming known as the ‘black muse’, during a time when eurocentric, white beauty was the norm in magazines and on TV.
The collection is available for pre-order on May 20th, and will drop worldwide on Urban Decay’s website on May 27th.
