New single and north american tour announced
Los Angeles-based harmonic trio Trousdale (Quinn D’Andrea, Georgia Greene, and Lauren Jones) officially announce their sophomore album, Growing Pains, set to release April 11 via Independent Co. Opening with bold electric guitar riffs, “Growing Pains” encapsulates the struggles of pursuing a passion while skating the edge of burnout. Balancing their signature gold-hued pop with masterfully executed country flair, the track sets the tone for an album exploring themes of resilience, heartbreak, and transformation. Lauren Jones shares, “It really is so disorienting to have a career that’s also your passion. Your boundaries are constantly being tested. ‘Growing Pains’ is about living the dream while acknowledging its challenges.”
The album was recorded live in the studio and co-produced by the band and John Mark Nelson, whose previous collaborations include Suki Waterhouse and Taylor Swift. Across 12 tracks, Growing Pains blends Americana and pop influences into an uplifting exploration of life’s emotional terrain. The trio credits their dynamic co-writing process with creating deeply relatable songs. “We’re all adding to each other’s ideas, expanding personal experiences into something universal,” explains D’Andrea.
GROWING PAINS TOUR
Trousdale will embark on a 28-date North American headline tour starting April 30 in Philadelphia and culminating in a hometown show at Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre on June 21. Beane and Nia Ashleigh will open with a collaborative set.
