The North Face Join Mastermind In Second Collaboration

Iconic outdoors brand, The North Face have teamed up with Masaaki Homma of Mastermind Japan for a limited-edition collection this fall. Falling under the umbrella of the Urban Exploration range, The North Face X Mastermind collaboration features 9 pieces as well as limited edition accessories which combine elements of iconic The North Face styles.

Founded since 1997, Mastermind Japan has become renowned for its skull and crossbones motif – something that has created a unique design sensibility based on a minimalist-dark mood and alternative direction. Today, the brand is known for its season-independent streetwear collections, high-quality products and high-profile collaborations.

This collection marks the second time The North Face has collaborated with Mastermind since their debut collaboration last year and presents a series of garments perfect for city dwellers, striking a perfect balance between the heritage of the mountains and first-rate functionality of The North Face with the street-cool aesthetic of Mastermind.

A few key pieces in the collection include; the classic Nuptse puffer jacket and a Winter Coach jacket redesigned with the Mastermind all-over logo print with a waterproof seam-sealed Gore-Tex and a multi pocketed bomber jacket.

The collection also includes a water repellent statement hoodie with zipped pockets and equipped with dual-layer and quick-drying Flashdry ™ technology, that been designed with function and comfort in mind.
Teamed with the collection follows 3 statement accessories; a city-style shoulder bag in nylon, a Gore-Tex cap and a 5-dimensional fit stretch fleece glove with touch-screen usability. Each item in the collection has been crafted to highlight the structure of the garment, the functionality but also to highlight the statement logo of Mastermind.

The North Face Urban Exploration x Mastermind collection will be available exclusively from October 10 2018 in London, Berlin and Madrid.
