THE NORTH FACE Presents: CMYK Capsule Collection
The exploration of four-color printing.
The latest capsule collection from The North Face, honours the fundamentals of print with a set of exclusive futuristic pieces.
The basis of the new CMYK collection, whose name refers to the color of the garments, is formed through the emphasis of colorways; Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. Creating features with an array of engineered textiles and colorfully woven new uppers to perfectly embody The North Face's lifestyle mantra: Inspired by the mountains, made for the city.
As a capsule collection, The North Face have combined elements of their emblematic pieces and designs. The 1996 Nuptse jacket and the Back to Berkley model have become synonymous with the style of the brand and referred to throughout the CMYK collection.
To capture the essence of the collection, The North Face has made its way to Amsterdam for its launch - a city that has become an advocate for streetwear and vibrancy.
Local duo Meis Belle Wahr and Jip Merkies photographed a group of Dutch creatives including Grime artist Flavio Monterio aka Y'unglatte and festival photographer Rachel Ecclestone in distinctive corners of the city such as, subway stations, a shipyard and skate parks which provided as luminous backgrounds for the collection.
The collection will launch on September 1 at thenorthface.de, The North Face stores and selected retailers.
