The Stüssy x Birkenstock Solana Collab Unveiled
Strap in style.
Stüssy and Birkenstock created a new collab. The Solana is a slip-on shoe that combines the comfort of Birkenstock's cork footbed with the style of Stüssy's streetwear.
The Solana is inspired by the Kyoto, a one-strap shoe from Birkenstock's classic collection. However, the Solana has a larger strap made of suede, with a soft shearling lining and a hook and loop fastener. The shoe is available in three colors: "Bone," "Caramel" and "Washed Green," and has a Stüssy logo on the strap.
This is not the first time that Stüssy and Birkenstock have worked together. The two brands have previously released the Boston clogs in 2021 and 2020, featuring corduroy and suede materials in different shades. The Boston clogs are also based on a Birkenstock original, but with a Stüssy twist.
Both Stüssy and Birkenstock are known for their collaborations with other brands. Stüssy has recently teamed up with Clarks Originals and Tekla, while Birkenstock has partnered with Tekla, Beams and Dior. Birkenstock has also made headlines by going public and trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
The Stüssy x Birkenstock Solana will be released worldwide on November 24 at select chapter stores and the official website, and on November 27 at 1774.
