The North Face Celebrates International Women’s Day By Launching A Special Collection
Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.
For International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8, The North Face is launching it's first-ever all-female designed, manufactured and marketed collection lead by women’s rights champion Oryana Awaisheh. “The world contains more skilled, talented and ambitious women than ever and I’m incredibly proud to be able to partner with The North Face to showcase the work of just a small number of these amazing women,” said Oryana.
The line is produced in a new all-female factory in Jordan and includes t-shirts arriving in bold iconic IWD colorways, made of technical fabric to encourage women to go out and explore. Also included in the collection are tote bags featuring vintage photographs sourced from the Yosemite Archives, showcasing two rebel females on the summit of a cliff face, having climbed up in full-length dresses and heels.
The North Face IWD collection is currently available on www.northface.co.uk and in select The North Face stores.
