The Lip Bar x Justine Skye : A Collection That Celebrates The Singer’s Heritage

Detroit based brand The Lip Bar just launched its first ever celebrity collaboration with Brooklyn based singer Justine Skye. Taking inspiration from Skye’s Jamaican heritage, the collection includes a range of her go-to shades.
According to Melissa, TheLip Bar’s CEO “Justine Skye was the perfect person to collaborate with because she's always speaking her truth, she's always being her most authentic self and we just wanted to celebrate her and celebrate her heritage.”
The limited collection ‘An Island Gyal’ consists of a ‘Cheek and Eye Palette’ in four duo chrome colors: Bare With Me, Island Gyal, Ultra Violet and JuJu which can be used on eyes or cheeks. To celebrate Justine’s love for a natural nude lip, the range includes a ‘Fiya Metallic Matte lip’ in Chocolate brown and a ‘One Love Gloss’ which is an iridescent carribean inspired lip topper. The final piece of the collection is the ‘Island Ting Eyeliner’ in Cobalt Blue which signifies the singer’s individuality and unapologetic self-expression.
